February 15, 2018 Update: I was reviewing Brendon’s article again this morning and while using the page load speed tools he references, I came across a mention on the Google Webmaster Blog that Google plans to make page speed a ranking factor for mobile searches beginning in July 2018. Something to keep in mind.
